All of us are sinners/born in original sin? Well, then how can we ever be good?

This teaching greatly reduces the individual’s capacity to be good. It makes the individual feel guilty and guilt leads to frustration, tension as well as a sense of unworthiness. So, we will never be able to good unless we get rid of this belief.

I agree. This statement is stupid. Babies are not sinners and we are not born in sin. How is that possible. This belief has to be abolished, it makes no sense and it is false. I am not a sinner and no I was not born in sin. How can babies be sinners?

I'm telling you right now asgtswife04 that I personally was not born into sin. I don't believe in your beliefs, therefore I'm telling you that when it pertains to me personally, you are wrong. Everyone has different beliefs and just because you believe everyone was born into sin, doesn't mean it is true. There are many religions out there that don't have this belief, so you have no right to say that EVERYONE is born into sin.

The thing is....all of us are sinners, but through the grace of God and Him sending His Son to die on the cross and shed His blood for us we are saved from that sin as long as we believe in Jesus Christ. No one human, except Christ, was or ever will be perfect. God knows that and that is why He sent us a Savior, one that would save us from eternal hell. As for getting rid of the belief, it's not a belief...it's the God Almighty and His word and it's trusting and having faith in that. Christianity has been thrown into the belief and religion category, but the truth is it's not a religion. It's a choice and a faith in something that you know more than anything is real. It doesn't matter that you can't physically see God or touch Him, you know He's real and you can feel it. God bless

Jesus does tell us exactly what to do to be saved. That was never an issue. The issue was about babies, who mind you, cannot read the Bible yet. I said that we are to cover our children until they can do so for themselves. I am well aware of what it takes to get to Heaven and all about the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ. I live as Christ like as I can and I have the Holy Spirit living inside of me. Maybe you misunderstood or I didn't make myself clear enough, but I never once said I didn't understand what it took to be a child of God. God bless

according to me... nothing is good or bad or a sin.. the sin according to your religion or community may be a sin in another community... so make your own principles and follow those inspite of getting confused by things that were created thousands of years back. to me... sin is not hurting anyone intentionally... so i am happy if i follow that.. thank you

That is exactly the attitude a lot of people have and you can see the results of it with your own eyes. Or, can you see it?
