I recently did a piece for a client on how to encourage our children to be children. Our society pushes them to grow up so fast. My husband and I try our best to shelter our kids from those pressures in the world and at home. Yes they have responsibilities, but they are kid responsibilities not adult one. What do you do at home to make sure that your children are able to enjoy thier childhood?

It is true children have to live their childhood, not grow too fast. My child is three and I am already seeing her growing fast, wish she was still a cuddly baby, however I love telling her fantasy stories and other staff where with her inocennce she believes me. For example every time it rains I tell her that the moon is crying for his mother and she keeps talking about the moon all day. It is good to keep kids kids, fantasy affacinates them and for them it is the real world.

This is a great topic to talk about. I try and let my girls be who they want to be. I have one that is acting younger and I have one that acts like she is a teenager. I am just now starting to enforce chores and such. I think kids do need time to grow up on their own, but they also need to be taught. Great topic to start happy mylotting to you and enjoy the week.
