Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Is this the 1st time that 2 of the top teams in the nfl have been eliminated in the playoffs? Or any other sport? I'm not very surprised by the Titans and Giants loosing to Baltimore and Philly. ILm more shocked that The Arizona Cardinals are in the playoffs at all. All of the teams that had a bye week have been eliminated. Can you imagine the Cardinals, who played in one of the worst divisions in the nfl making it to the superbowl?

It is a first in NFL history, I love it - this playoff scenario has been one to remember. Funny how Dallas was picked to go to the Super Bowl and the Eagles were on the way out. I had a sneaky feeling that San Diego could not make it to the next level, the defense did not play up to their potential, and LaDainian Tomlinson was hurt once again. It seems as though LaDainian has some sort of voodoo curse, I feel so sorry for his misfortune. The game of NFL Football has evolved into a high-powered game where the players are much more conditioned and students of the game.

I think Tomlinson is one his way downhill in his career. Maybe him being hurt all year is the reason he didn't have the spectacular season we are used to seeing from him. This is the second straight year he has had to sit and watch from the sideline while his team lost. It is funny how America's team didn't even make it. I even thought the Cowboys were a lock to win their division with all the talent they had. They go out and trade for Roy williams and they hardly use him in the offense, because they are too worried about keeping "Terrible" Terrell Owens happy.
The eagles are the luckiest team to even get into the playoffs so far. They had to depend on other teams loosing to make it. And now they are in the NFC title game. That's crazy.
