I just saw the new movie Yesman! and it really made me think about my life. Do I really live to the fullest and use the every opportunity my life presenting me? I think that we are scared of a lot of things in our lives and it stops us from enjoying our life. What do you think?

It depends on the opportunity if you ask me. Last week, I got an opportunity to work, and though I wanted it, it wouldn't help me because I would have to lift heavy stuff and such. Made me mad because I didn't think the job entailed that. But if it's something that is ethical, I can improve my situation and such, I am not mad at it. I don't mind.

I'm not scared of much, and I do say 'yes' at every opportunity. With a handicap, its even more important to not lock yourself away from life... its too easy to end up alone while others move on. Whether I feel up to it or not, I will say 'yes' to new experiences as often as I can and for as long as I can.

when i was younger and i have no kids i would say yes. in every single opportunity that came to my life. i was 18 years old when i first joined a band and went abroad for singing. and for me it add a good feather to my hat. now that i am a mom of four and a single mom i considere it first before grabbing it. it is hard to be a mom and a dad at the same time.

Hi soleya! I haven't seen the new movie Yesman yet. But to answer your question if I live my life to the fullest and use the every opportunity that comes knocking at my door..well, I don't think so. I do take risks but not all the time. There are times that I feel scared just to go through the risk and grab the opportunity. I admit that I have a lot of fears which stops me from grabbing some opportunities.
Take care and have a nice day!

No. I sure don't. I have to know if it is valid and if it will work well for me or not. I do try alot of new opportunities after checking out their validation.

If I'm just scared, I'll say yes. But I think about all the reasons why I want to say no first and if they are legitimate I will refuse the opportunity.
I heard that movie is fairly good but has some icky moments. I wish Jim Carey would do more drama, he's a really wonderful dramatic actor.

I have not seen the movie yet, only heard about it through certain vines, however I can vouch for myself by saying that I don't take every opportunity. I see the world as a black sky filled with stars. There are times you can reach out and take a star, and other times when you can't, it depends on the situation. If I could pull every star out of the sky, what would be left for someone else who needed it more?
