I don't know about you, but I really don't like talking on the phone. Which is strange because, when I was younger, I was on the phone ALL the time. I dread calling people, and I screen calls that come in because I just don't like using the phone. I have no idea what's wrong with me, but I'd much rather write a letter or send an email. Am I strange?

If it makes you feel any better I screen my calls too. I don't like talking on the phone much as I find that I have better things to waste my time with. I stay in touch with the important people in my life but mostly through the computer,LOL. I like you, would rather send email or write a letter so no I do not think it is strange and I hope that makes you feel better.

Well, I'm 16. I'm at the age where, hypothetically, I should be into the cellphone craze. The last time I used my cellphone was on New Years, to reply to a message. And before that I hadn't used the phone in six months. My cellphone bill is usually under $5 a month.
I don't like using the home phone either, and dread phone calls. When I hear it ring, I just let it go on and on and on until someone else picks it up (even though it's only a metre a way from me).
I also prefer to send emails (although, letters not so much). I suppose it's because it's less hasslesome. When you're on the phone, you go off on tangents and sometimes even forget why you called, but with an email, it's more straightfoward.
Anyway, all in all, I very rarely use a phone to keep in touch. I don't know whether this is strange or not, but I don't think it is.
