This verifies that god does not exist

Here you are...
Everyone could say that God is infinite love, but if something is infinite, then it is impossible to have the opposite. We all know that hate is present in the world, so God could not be infinite love, because there is hate. In that case, God, as an infinite being, does not exist.

That doesn't make any sense, because God gave everyone free will. He didn't program you or anyone to be what He wants. So of course there's going to be hate. There's also a lot of love, laughter and beauty in the world. He even gave you the right to think he doesn't exist. When they say God in infinite love, they mean Him. He loves you, for example, even though you think he doesn't exist.

The funny thing about trying to prove or disprove a god is that no two people view their god in the same way. You can never really disprove the existence of any god, because we don't really know the true nature of any of them. We can only assume we know their nature, then make more assumptions based on our original ideas.

I wouldn't venture to say that. And it's no secret that, without God, there is hate. That's a given, whether God exists or not. And the fact is that even I, as strong a believer as I am, forget all too often to ask for guidance.
God did not make us robots, He gave us free will. Yes, Einstein said that an omniscient God should have known ahead of time what we would do, but perhaps God's intention was not for us never to make mistakes: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1868216.aspx#2_18750115
Einstein believed in Spinoza's God, and for good reason. It doesn't make sense that God would create us to be perfect, and then we sin anyway. But what does make sense is that life has been shown to be far too complex for a "random occurrence," which is why the scientific community has abandoned the Fallacy of the Shakespearian Monkeys, among others.
Your argument here is nothing new; did you think it's never been used before? Why then do believers so vastly outnumber atheists, even today? You may be able to debunk the Bible, but you'll have to try harder than that to wish God Himself away.

Hi Christoph, I find the idea interesting, but it doesn't really prove anything. There is no way to either prove or disprove the existence of God, as it is impossible for the physical to comprehend the spiritual. Some of the wisest men and women who have ever lived have spent a lifetime trying to do just that and no one has ever succeeded. I do however think you are doing well to question. Blessings.

I don't buy your argument because both positive numbers and negative numbers exist.
100 / -100
cold / hot
dark / light
love / hate

Let's say I have a girlfriend that I love very much. But I hate anyone that tries to harm her. Does the fact that hate those that want to harm her prove that I don't exist?

Well it actually verifies absolutely nothing..Its simply your opinion not to mention the fact that "infinite" simply means neverending..jsut because something is neverending does NOT make it nil and void from having an opposite...
