Do you like ice cream cake more than regular cake?

My nephew's birthday just passed and he said he doesn't like anything except ice cream cake . . . so, that's what we got him. I don't know why, but I was under the impression that there would be at least SOME cake in this dessert. Turns out, it's a giant chunk of ice cream in the shape of a cake that costs a really stupid amount of money. I tasted it, thinking it would be the best thing I ever tried, and realized . . . it was just plain old ice cream. What the heck? There was crunchy stuff in there, but it looked like ground up chocolate graham crackers. Needless to say, I'm not a fan of this kind of cake.
Do you like ice cream cake? Do you prefer ice cream cake over regular cakes?

I guess it depends where you get them. At Baskin Robins the ice cream cake is a layer of cake with ice cream on it. Really good. I am such a fan of ice cream that anything with ice cream is great to me. But why call it a cake when it's just ice cream?

Hi. explorations. I am not sure of what kind of cake that they have made your nephew, but it wasn't ice cream cake, that is for sure. Try Pepperidge's Farm ice cream cakes. They make delicious cakes. They come in about four different flavors. They taste really good when they are cold and frozen. I am very sorry that your nephew's cake did not come out well as expected.

it depends upon my mood, the weather and my throat... i love cakes and ice cream but my throat doesn't... i have a sensitive throat..dw

I do not like cake much so if I had to choose it would be ice cream cake. I hate icing and ice cream cake is just more fun to me. I got it for my daughters first birthday and it was so messy but so fun. My husband loves it all, but I do not have that much of a sweet tooth.

I love ice cream cake, especially Dairy Queen cake! I definitely prefer it over regular cake, so creamy and cold :P

I don't like ice cream cake. I enjoy regular cake very much.
When I was young I worked at a bakery. The baker made his own icecream cake. IT had cake AND ice cream. THAT was awesome! So yummy!

I never heard of this type of ice cream cake before. Where did his parents get the cake?

I like ice cream cake too but not as much as the regular cake. It is like to eat ice cream cake from time to time but not too much of it. There is one pastry shop from our place that offers ice cream cakes and one of the the cake that they offer that i like is the mud pie it has a base of chocolate graham, chocolate ice cream, chocolate frosting and pistachio nuts. It taste good but i don't like to eat that often. happy mylotting!!!

I compare like ice Qi insulting the cake,because ice Qi insults the cake to be friends with compared to the regular cake looks many,it is also more delicious than the regular cake,in brief I am the comparison like it`~`~`

no i don't prefer ice cream because it is justcheating in the name of ice cream cake combunation. i like regular cakes .they can be taken at any time.

Well there's not really that much difference between the two, just one has ice cream and one doesn't. You can do perfectly fine with buying a regular cake and eating ice cream with it. It's usually too cold when my birthday comes around to get ice cream cake, so I normally just eat plain ol' regular cakes. I prefer them over ice cream cakes too, they give me a brainfreeze often.

i do, i like the ice cream cake from dairy quuen. it has this chocolate crunch with chocolate fudge inside the 2 layers of vanilla and chocolate ice cream and it's so good, yum yum. they also have an ice cream pizza. i like the caramel one

I don't care for ice cream cake and I don't think that it would matter what kind it is. I prefer cake with ice cream. We just had cupcakes for my youngest daughter and we had neopolitan ice cream with it so that everyone could have a flavor that they liked. We do that a lot.

I like plain ice cream, not the ice cream cake. However, I do not mind ice cream on my cake.
Just a little hint: you can make your own ice cream cake and save lots of money. Just think, if you do a decent job you can sell ice cream cakes to others and make a nice little profit while saving them money. Pretty Cool.

i am a ice cream person. and i am a cake person as well har har har. but ice cream cake is not that popular here at our country. if i havea chance to have one then it would be awesome. and ice cream cake is somehow complicated to bring around. i like ice cream and cake so i like ice cream cake too

Cake! I love cake and I also love the ice cream chocolate. But for me, I would rtaher have the regular cake than the ice cream cake because I don't really like the cool sensation when I ate the ice cream cake.
Yeah, I have tasted the best ice cream cake in my place but I don't think I would like it more than I like the regular cake.
