Positive Attitude

I can not tell you how important a positive attitude is to success. I have worked with negative people and positive people and it seems that no matter how mundane the task; I always wanted to work for the positive guy. Don't get me wrong there are times when we have to face the sobering facts...but lets do it with some optimism.

I have realized that the only kind of people who succeed are those with positive attitudes. Recently, I started avoiding negative people and it seems to be working in my favor. My next step is to stop thinking and talking about them. Even that can weigh you down. There is nothing worse than sobering facts. They shoot down your dreams and dreams are what drive people to success. Cheers!!

Negative people tend to weigh people down with doubt and other bad things. I thins that it is smart to not even think about them. There are a few things about dreams. Dreams are important, but so are goals...goals are how we achieve our dreams, despite those sobering facts.

Being positive is what one strives to be. It is fine as long as something does not go really wrong. But if suddenly something goes wrong, like if you get robbed or you lose a job. Then it's really hard to think positively.

I think that you are right; it is hard to be optimistic when theings go wrong. I think the secret is to accept the fact that somethings can not be controlled and go with that. I mean you should have a positive attitude; it is easier with a a good back-up plan.

Yes, I think you have to have a "can-do" attitude at least at the moment you are doing something to succeed. That doesn't mean you have to be an extreme optimist or anything, though. Even if you think your life is terrible and that the world is a mess, you can still think positively when it comes to whatever you are doing, be it a job, posting on myLot, or writing a novel.

Excellent, a "Can Do" attitude is the very important. I think that it is important to be positive and "do your best," no matter what you are doing. Heck, these days you got to smile; just to have a job.

Yep, I agree. Positive attitude does affect other people and that makes everyone better.

I agree that it is better in the long run to work in a more positive environment. My thought has always been that if you have to be at work, it might as well be fun and interesting.
