I have a chow-chow dog and it's black coloured. I want to have white puppies but a friend of mine told me that only white and white dogs can make white puppies I wonder if my black chow-chow and a white one can have white puppies?

There is no such thing as a white Chow Chow. You must be thinking of Cream.

It depends on your dogs heritage. If your dog is a black, from 2 black parents, then he will likely only have black or blue puppies, unless bred to a red or a cream who is from red or cream parents. Still though, chances are pretty good that all the puppies will be black.
In any case though, no responsible breeder would ever breed a dog purely for color when temperament and health are MUCH more important.

Yes, I thought of Cream coloured chow-chow...
The colour of the puppies is not so important for me, I was just wondering...
The first time she had puppies, there were 3 red and 3 black dogs - my dog is black and the male one was red.
