Have you recently run into the Facebook Liars? Anyone that uses this site for personal and professional correspondence, you may want to be very careful on who you talk to and any information that is presented on this site. How many people have Facebook horror stories?

I am a victim of one of those liars. I won't say that it was from facebook but it was from Yahoo messenger. It was my own friend from a game parlor. He pretended to be a girl and proposed to me. He was acting so smart that I believed him that he is a girl and fallen in love with me. The only mistake I made is that I didn't talk with her or seen her on webcam.
It run for nearly a month and he even scheduled a meeting with me. I went there and all of my friends were there and they made me a "bakra". So embarrassing.

I believe tha one hs to be really cautious when it comes to the internet and social interaction. I am sorry that your friends made a horrible joke on you. I don't think that it was right to do such a ting because it could lead to other repercusssions. I think that one needs to use facebook and other chat programmes in a safe manner and does not reveal personal information.

On such social network sites you have to be careful. I don't trust much and now on facebook I only add people I know. though I dont like to share a lot of personal information either as I dont know who will see it. Anyone can create an account and put fake photos and information about himself. I cannot believe how some people still trust users they don't know.
