You said yourself that some people got paid there, you can't blame a site for being a scam just because the server is down for a bit and you received infractions. If you don't want to receive infractions there it's best to read the rules. I learned that the hard way, I think you need to learn that too.

I think as of this moment we should not accuse first the site, let us see in two days time if they won't be availbale, it means to say that they are really a scam.I already have 253 cents in the site. I still remember that I focus on the whole day in the site just to reach big cents. Now, this happens now. This only let me realized that i should stay in mylot more time since this is the only site that is really legitimate and can be trusted.

Yes same to me. Size of paper not opening. I have made there more than 600 cents but never had an infraction. I think you should more aware about the rules especilly posting similar post or thread. I hope they are under maintenance and will be online within a earlier time. Let us wait for that good time. Good luck to all.

How about you read every other post here to find out whats happening. And to stop getting infractions all you have to do is stop breaking rules. I added 2 new mods and didnt tell them what to give infractions for, they just saw the list of infractions they can give and they have been giving them out just as much as me and my other admin were, and the mods have nothing to gain by giving infractions except for a clean site with no spam.

Another update. The servers are being fixed. You may have now noticed that instead of not finding it you are getting a forbidden error. This is because all the files are being uploaded and its taking a long time as there is a lot of files required for a hosting server. So im still waiting on my host to get it back up. I am able to get into my cpanel for the site but i am still unable to do anything as the proper files are not yet uploaded. But it is improving and hopefully soon it will all be ready. So like me you all just have to keep on waiting and hopefully it will be back up in the next couple of hours but it still could be a few days.

I am the owner of Size of Paper. I have been signing up to all the forums that are talking about my site being down to let you all know whats happening. As many of your regular members may have noticed SoP has been crashing a few times in the last few days. My host has now crashed completly and is working on getting the site back up. Thats what happens when you use shared hosting. I wasnt expecting SoP to grow as fast as it did and it was getting up to 200 people online at the same time and with all the extra addons i made for the site made it very database intensive and server intensive. My host had to run a fsck process (if you dont know what that is then you dont really need to, its just needed sometimes and can take a very long time) on the server which is why you can not access the site. If sop isnt back up by tomorrow then i will put a new landing page on another host which will give you all the latest details of whats happening. If worst comes to worst then ill just have to push SoP back a couple of days so any posts, members or earnings made in the last few days will be deleted. But hopefully it wont have to come to that. As soon as the site is back up ill be moving it over to either a vps or dedicated server so that hopefully i wont have this problem again. Ill try keep an eye on this thread as i do have a lot of other threads to watch and reply, its good to see that so many people are talking about SoP, now i just need to make sure everyone knows im doing everything i can to get it back up.

no, sop is not a scam.. it's not down anymore,, i checked it and it is working...i guess it was just a glitch in their server..

They have had problems but are back up and running now, i think all sites can have downtime and everyone panics.

Hey, You should probably try and wait for about 24 hours or a bit longer to see whether it really is a scam. Sometimes it could be down for maintenance or something. If it isn't back up within 2 days, you could say it is a scam. Happy Lotting!

i have read on some ptp sites that the site is gone down for maintenance purposes. i havent joined the site as the payout is too high. but they did not tell that they are going to be down for some days thats really bad as they might loose some of its members by not telling them in advance. happy mylotting!!!!

sure i earned more points in sizeofpaper..but they always cut my point in to lower level..so i left that site..they says paying too much cents(&0.10 cent per post)but they didn't do that..ITS A VERY VERY BIG SCAMMMMMMMMMM

Yes the site is not opeaning for me as wel... also when the last time i posted there they paid less than one cent per post.. while in the begining tehy werre paying near to 3 cents per post... may be they gone scam, lets see if it opens again or not..lol. happy myloting

Too early to say or judge that size of paper is a scam. There are a lot of things to consider before you put up your conclusions on the site. Be careful of our words. Think first before you say something. The site might be facing some technical problems. If they are not back within 2 days or more, then maybe that's it.

Hi there!I am a new member to that site also and i tried to open it but until now,i cant.i am not sure what is the problem but maybe they are repairing or something like that.let's just wait and see if we can open that site again.If not,then lets just stay here in mylot.I got points earned there also.Well,i am enjoying here also.

Sizeofpaper is back! They got server problems a couple of days ago but today today it's up and running again.

Haha. Seems like you are too impatient. Never conclude anything in a day. I have also got infractions in that site. I got some 5 infractions which is worth 50 points. That means I lost $5 in infractions. Haha. That doesn't say that the site is a scam. The reason is also clearly stated with the infraction. If you think that you are right, then you can ask the moderator about that. I have got 2 payouts from that site. That means $40 from that site. How can anyone say that its a scam??? When you leave any site for being strict, of course you can't find any good sites. And about the pay per post. It varies with the section. For example, the GPT sections earn just 0.5 cents per post. And "Web chat" earns 1 cents per post. But there are also other sections where you get good earnings. "Webmasters Hangout" pays well. You can see the earnings after each post. So now you have to take effort in finding the one which pays well. All the best.

I just signed up with the site on Sunday...couldn't get it to load yesterday and today I get a 403 Forbidden error on Firefox and IE. GRRRR Just as well I guess. I have enough trouble keeping up on here, nevermind two sites.

maybe we should wait a little more time to said a site a scam or not. server downtime is more likely happened in my opinion. but i didn't post there either so i can't judge whether they scam or not. i hope they are not scam, too many scam sites these days..

Some website will be shutdown every week or trouble shooting can make we loss some of money.
