My nephew is over-weight and consequently less interested in sports. I told him to join us working out which is biking bout he refused. I did encourage him to join family activities, but all he likes is watching TV together, would it be possible he will become obese child?

Remind him that his weight is very much important and let him know that if he wants to lose weight , you will be glad to help. Offer a healthful low fat meals for the entire family. You can take him to a registered dietitian or his pediatrician for a food plan that provides adequate calories for growth and lifelong success..
Being overweight places a child at risk for many health problems, they often have high cholesterol and high blood pressure and an increased risk for heart disease as a result.
The psychological stress over weight children experience can be as devastating as the medical problem They are often teased by other children and as a result suffer poor self-image, low self-esteem and depression, that you would not like to happen to your nephew. So good luck!![](/Content/images/emotes/happy.gif)
