My Son Starts to Enjoy Talking!

Hello All, I want to share my valuable experience seeing my son growing up. He is just two and at the stage where he becomes so talkative sometimes... He changed his interest a few times, from football to cars to watching movie. Oh, he doesn't like watching cartoons now unless they are cute and chubby like him! (excluding his all times favorite ' Spongebob' and his friend Patrick!) He likes horror/thriller and superhero movies sometimes. He will sit on the sofa quietly and watch it with full attention. Sometimes when he saw the culprit, he will shout "Mommy, he is at the back!/Behind the curtains! " and runs to hide behind me. The problem is - I can't switch on the TV whenever he is around, he will ask me to watch the same movie again and again unless he is very busy repairing his collection of cars! Whenever we go to the mall, he will look for a toys shop. He will search what he wants and goes straight to the counter to pay. When I gave the money to the cashier, he will take the stuff, say "Thank You"and run out like someone is going to steal his toys if he doesn't do that. Whenever he sees a petrol station, he asks me to stop - not to pump the petrol but to buy drinks for him! He remembers that place as he followed me once to buy drinks! He likes cats too but I am not sure whether it is for a good or bad purpose. Recently, my babysitter told me that he kicked two kitten straight into the drain. Whenever he sees cats, he will tell me whether it is a Daddy Cat, Mommy Cat or Adam Cat (his name) and will ask the cat the same question, "Cat meow meow! Wanna eat?" I pretty much enjoyed being with him. That's the reason I always rush home to fetch him....

Hello Dasari100, Oh, I do hope my son will be a good person one day! But sometimes, as a mother I can't avoid pampering him too much. I don't want him to be a spoiled brat. As far as I can see, he is a smart boy and quick learner. I need to teach him one or two times, and he is ready to understand.

I think your luck enough in this situation because he understands very well so then he won't get any problems in education, anything he can understand easily. how many years to your child?

Hello Dasari100, My son is 2 1/2 years old. He is a big boy but sometimes he can easily get scared of small little creatures. Nowadays, he loves to play with crayons and he doesn't only draw on his book but the whole living room too. Whenever I send him to the baby sitter's house, he will ask me to put on his bag pack at his back and tells me that he is ready for school!

hi gr8life! oh that is soooo cute! :D hihihihi our baby is only a month and half old and so we are still enjoying the stage that she is completely dependent on us. well at least, almost completely dependent, because by now she can already moved her head without much help. so gone is the full dependence on us. anyway, that is a cute time to enjoy too, the talking, but i noticed that people say that even though you try to teach them to talk early on, when the kids start talking , you also want them to shut up! lol i hope you will not reach that point. take care and enjoy your baby! God bless your family! happy mylotting! :D

Hello spoiled311, Now, you also know how great and enjoyable to be a mother! There are more to come and I can assure you, you just do not want to miss a thing! My son speaks very fast and non-stop and yes, sometimes I do have to tell him to sit and watch TV quietly without saying a word. He is really jealous when he sees my husband and I engaged in a conversation. He always find a way to interfere. Two weeks ago, I was busy cooking in the kitchen when he came and asked me whether he can draw or not. I told him to draw in his book and not on the wall. I rushed to the living room when I heard him said this to himself, "See! My house is beautiful! Who did this? It's me!" It was just too late. He drew the four walls in the living room with his crayons!

Your sone is very brave... my daughter doesn't like horror movies... but she likes those where kids are the main characters... like the movie "Bridge to Terabithia"... we watched that twice already... She is also very talkative... and would constantly sing... inventing her own words and melody... and we also constantly dance... especially when her favorite commercial is on... This is what i love most about being a mother... we get to enjoy seeing our kids grow and develop... and we get to be an integral part of that... and now... that makes me want to have more kids...

Hello Feona1962, I think he is a quick learner. He can remember certain roads quite fast especially the ones to his favorite shopping malls. Whenever he is at a toy shop, he will stand and look at the toys. When I take something that he already have at home, he will tell me -Eh, Mummy! I have this at home! But, he won't move anywhere else and stand at the same spot - to tell me that he really wants that toy though he already have one.

Hello Nhey16, I don't know how to tell you how much I enjoy being his mother! He is active and quite naughty but a smart boy too. He talks and talks 24-7 and there is always new thing he will tell or show me each and everyday. My husband tries to teach him Russian but I think our son is already confused with the two languages that he is listening and speaking every day!

Hello checapricorn, My son becomes very talkative nowadays. Sometimes I just can't handle him with all his questions. He loves repeating what I said to him too. No matter how, I feel blessed to have him in our lives. He is so much joy to us.
