I still play with my children and they play with me. Just yesterday my daughter was chasing me in the house. My husband OMG! plays to much I have to tell them to take it out side they shake the house they play so much.
I think these days parent's are so busy with schedes they forget they have children.
Children are babysat my the internet,tv, and video games.
I do understand that bills have to be paid but who is more important those bills or your children?
Sometimes parent's need to just take time and joke with your children,They do not understand serious. Children have their own lanquages.
Teenager speak teenish, tweens speak tweenglish, and kids speak kidish.
They do not hear nothing you say because they speak a different lanquage.
Parents have to learn those lanquages. You have to become bilingual in your childs lanquage. When you do they will hear you, they will understand and work with you.
All though I play with my children I have yet to master their lanquages.
I know one phrase....I will give you money if.
when I say that they magically understand.
I always say things in a joking way but this is serious.
Spending time with your children mean a lot to them.
Just saying hey you wanna go for a joy ride means the world to them.
Sometimes a child's problem is you!
If your child does not know you it becomes a problem. And if you live in the
same house and your child does not know you then it is time
to start playing with your child. That will help you to begin to understand their lanquage.
and it will make you all closer and happier.

Very well said panzerswifey, I agree with you. Though how much busy we are we should make sure to find time with our family most of all our children- we have to sometimes put ourselves in to their shoes so we can understand them.
I't's not all about meeting their needs it more importantly keeping a good relationship with them- communication plays very important role. We sometimes have to act and play children once in a while :)... They also need guidance and assistance; we have to be watchful always how our children grow, guiding them into a person with respect and love for God and others, this is one of our common goal as a parents.
Thanks and have a good day :)
