Hello,Maruti! I am of the opinion that there should be an age limit for the politicians as for the government servants. So also there should be a minimum education standard for all politicians.thanx.

No age limit can be practically imposed for politicians, as politics is a very peculiar kind of art portayed by some what intelligent people, who knows the game competitively(if not thoroughly) at any age.
Plus they become more and more crowd pullers/public pulse readers, as they ripe/grow older. Public too vouch for (b)older politicians.
Politics must have got some origination from POLLS.
Sorry for politicizing the issue...

Politicians assume the responsibility of the 'wise old man' in our society of long ago. They are considered our 'elders' supposedly. That's why there's no age limit but there is a minimum age.
Too bad that most are not acting as our 'elders' but are actually ripping us off.
If only they'd understand their position.

Its infact a qusetion which has no answer even from the politicians , As what they defend themselves is polictics is more of practicals rather than theory, So Practical Experience counts more than what you study in books, As you cant go and rule a nation just by reading a book named "How to rule a Nation"
