have you ever dropped your laptop?

hi all!
almost everybody owns a laptop computer. the portability, reliability and power of the latest laptops make them the choice of professionals and even ordinary people.
however, portability has its drawbacks. since it's easy to carry, laptops can be accidentally dropped. and sometimes this could be a disaster, and sometimes, the laptop comes out with just a few scratches, or even none at all!
although i have a laptop (just an ordinary Acer TravelMate 2420), i'm very careful with it coz i spent too much for this second-hand laptop (since it was being sold by my cousin, i was too shy to haggle with her. hahaha). and thank goodness i haven't dropped it... yet... hehe
how about you guys? have you ever dropped your laptop? (accidental or on purpose). is your laptop still working fine?

well i havent ever but i almost dropped it once but thanks to the fact that it landed on my cushions that no harm was done, actually toshiba has launched a series of laptop which are resistant to such fall for about 4-6 feets, and this has been made mainly for teenagers who carry laptop with to all places in their back packs

I have dropped my laptop ,stepped on my laptop and even sat on my laptop.
and nothing happened,no scratches nothing.
One time I even fell asleep on my laptop. I have spilled sff on it and it still looks brand new. I am just lucky I guess.
I was lucky I dhink you wanna drop it,drool on it,fall asleep on it,step on it, or even sit on it (poor laptop with my fat butt on it)
I was lucky I may not be so lucky the next time I am careless with it.

oh yes. I have dropped my laptop many a time but it's still working just fine. 
There was this once, i fell asleep on the bus. And when my stop came, i just stood up forgetting my laptop was resting on my lap. It fell real hard on the ground with a loud thud. But thankfully i have a bag onver it. so it wasn't that bad.

No, never. I just bought my thinkpad 6 months ago and it's not very big or heavy, 12 inches screen and less than 1.5kgs weight. Easy to carry and handle. It's my precious baby, lol. I love it and I just bring it to bed on my lap when the weather is too cold. And other times I will just put it on desk or in the bag.
I will still be very careful with the it because it's very annoying to break it and then get some other componetns rather than the orignal ones.
