Getting gum on your shoes,isnt that the most annoying thing ever !

Thankfully this has never happened to me for years.I know exactly what you mean it is awful.How on earth are you expected to get it off if you have no tissues withyou.You have to walk it everywhere with you and it makes such a mess.sticky and horrible and it has been in someone elses mouth.Disguting and dirty,in our country it got so bad it made the pavements white and the council used to remove it with machines that froze it and hoovered the disgusting mess up.I am with you on hanging them in public and flogging them.We have now got gum stick posts with board and when you have finished with the gum you stick it to those which are positioned round town but even that is gross.the whole thing makes me feel sick.I cannot understand if people feel the need to chew carry tissues around in your pocket and put it in there and dispose of it in a bin for goodness sake we don't want that type of yuck on our pavements.

it is more annoying when a gum stick on my new pair of pants while I was in the church. when I kneeled down, I didin't know there was a gum down

Yes, this is quite annoying. I don't understand why people don't use the chewing gum paper to dispose it well. It's not difficult to do so, but be sure it is good for the environment. I love China

Hi ronnyb! Yes, it happened to me a lot of times. I really find it yucky, irritating and sometimes, i just want to throw my shoes to whoever threw that gum. haha.. I hate it when I step in chewing gum. I usually watch where I'm stepping when I'm on pavement,but sometimes, you step out of a car and right into the mess. I taught my kids and my grandkids you never spit out gum. You wrap it in paper and throw it away later. I used to swallow it when I was a kid. But I don't think you'll ever get a case against someone who spits out their gum on the property.

I think it is rather annoying and its hard to get off. Plus i don't want to be touching something that has been in another persons mouth. Yuck.

I think they should be fined for littering. It is very disrespectful of people to spit gum out knowing people walk in those places. It's the same with just plain spitting. There is nothing more disgusting than seeing such things in pathways. If my kids spit gum out in public I will make them pick it up and throw it away.

i think it is a very rude thing to do but people do alot of rude things like that. i hate spitting to. by the way u said u never used curse words, my bigmama said it was just as bad tio think them. lol

yes I too get annoyed on such things. I have experienced it several times. At that times I feel chewing gums should be banned cause I dont use chewing gums lol.

I think weve all been there where we got something sticky on the bottom of our shoes. I even get annoyed at the movie theatre when this happens, but what can you do. I dont think any punishment is necessary exactly. Just accept that people are rude and move on cause there are more important things in life to worry about. Maybe just fine them something, but other than that its not worth too much of our time. Lol, even if you put garbage cans everywhere, youll still have people who are lazy and not put it in the can.

All the time. It's not just gum either. There's also black tape, glue, all sorts of nasty, sticky things. I think, if the person is caught, the punishment should fit the crime. They should have to clean it up. And off the people's feet. Remember finding gum under your desks while in school? Ugh!
