Mother drowning her kids

This is the first i have heard of this. It really is sad how some moms can do this. I suffered PPD and didn't ever harm my baby. I would shut the door and breath while counting to ten. It seemed to help. My son had colic. THe worse of the worse. I hope i never have to go through that again.

Hi, you must be talking about Andrea Yates. Yes, she's mentally ill (no mother in her right mind would do that) and sufferred from severe post partum depression. It was such a tragic and horrible news before...very sad.

Mrs. Yates had many a problems, which were ignored or poorly treated. After having my son, whom was colic, I totally understand the helplessness, fustration, anger, and out-right desperation she must of experienced. PPD (post-partum depression) happens to so many mothers, they just dont react the way Mrs.Yates did.
