Who else has a cold?

I woke up 2 days ago with a sore throat. My boyfriend had been complaining the night before about his being scratchy, so we picked up some cough drops and figured it was just the cold, dry weather.
Yesterday mine turned into a full flung head cold. I am stuffed up, have a sore throat, sinus headaches, runny eyes -- I'm miserable.
Of course, I warned my boyfriend that if I got sick he was going to have to take care of me since I am (bar none) the whiniest person ever when I'm sick. I think he thought I was joking, but I showed him.
After the 5th time I asked him to get me something from bed yesterday, he finally just shut the door to his office so he couldn't hear me anymore. It's not my fault. I'm sick!
How about you? Any more colds or flus out there?

The weather is pretty cold where we stay too & the whole family caught cold last week.
Same symptoms: sore throat, blocked nose etc. Fortunately the irritating cold has left all of us in peace now.
Did you know that cold spreads mainly from body contact & handshakes are the biggest culprit. This is the reason for all family members to catch cold almost at the same time. I guess we can't avoid contact despite the cold.
It is advised for mothers having cold to frequently wash hands with soap before touching babies. The good news however is that proper rest can cure cold in about a weeks time.

I got 5 or 6 flus last year. During xmas I got my last one and was a terrible sore throat. Even though very sick I went to work normally. Very difficult, coughing all the time, dripping nose. But i could survive. Now i am taking vitamin c to see if I can avoid it to happen so soon.

cold yes but not me, my daughter. I went to pick up my daughter from school and she looked so bad. her face is hot and cough all day... when we got home,she slept all day. That's scare me tho, but she feels better now.
I live in california and the weather here is getting crazy, super cold and then super hot; that's make me sick.
Lucky, I dont really get sick easily cuz I always take care of myself good tho. I dont blame you cuz you are sick and you really need help.

Yes, I have a terrible cold. I think I got it about four days ago. It was very windy in my town. It was extremely windy. Then I felt my throat starting to feel sore. Then my sinues started hurting, I lost my voice and the coughing is horrible. I will be so happy when I'm over this what ever it is.
Take care of yourself also and get better soon.

I got sick this past Thursday. I woke up with a sore throat and runny nose. I live in California so I'm used to warm weather during winter, but I was in Chicago at the time. I was there for two weeks and I was pretty prepared. I had sweaters, jackets, beanie, gloves, and a scarf. One night when I went out with my girlfriend and her friends, I ended up forgetting my scarf.. The next morning I was sick :(
I've been taking Sudafed Severe Cold and it has helped me. It's been almost a week and the only symptom I have left is my runny nose. Hope you all feel better!

My daughter has had a cold for the past few days. Coughing, runny nose, and a fever. She's miserable and not sleeping through the night. So that makes us two peas in a pod. She wont sleep at night unless she's in bed with me, waking up every twenty minutes or so. I feel so bad because I can't just snap my fingers and make her all better. All I can do is pump her full of tylenol and keep her comfortable.

I am pregnant now, so I gotta really take care of myself, and I really can't fall sick, even though having cold. Otherwise, it is not good for the baby and for myself too. Luckily I do not have cold recently.

I don't have one. Though my kids had colds and ear infections over the holidays. That was fun on Christmas night dealing with 2 po'd kids just hoping to make it thru the night til we could call the Dr in the morning.
Of course since I have 2 kids in school we seem to catch everything that's going around. I think we should own stock in kleenex *LOL*

Mine started as normal cold.And than....all my family got a cold.I mean this wasn`t a cold.It was like a virus only for our family.All the same symptomp,lenght and speed of reacting to medicines.It`s funny but now nobody goes nowhere and we all stay at home.Happily I have my laptop and I can stay at my bed and just do my job from home so at least somebody does something helpful today.My poor cousin....she and her mom came toay to halp us...they gave us bells.Happy MyLotting!

Fortunately, I don't have a cold. However, I was unfortunate enough to catch a cold over the Christmas holidays, which began just as I was about to go to bed. My nose just began to run and run, and kept me up for a few hours. It simply wouldn't stop running!

For the last month everyone around me has been getting sick and I've managed to dodge it but I must have zigged somewhere when I should have zagged because it finally caught me.
Sore throat, headache, stuffed up. The weirest part though is that I keep getting dizzy spells. They only last a 30 seconds or so but it's frequent and really annoying!
Oh well this too shall pass.

Before, when I was not taking vitamins yet, I easily get colds, but since I started to take ENERVON, I haven't had colds anymore. It really helps. Take ENERVON everyday. :)

I don't have a cold. I seem to be not getting it this time around. Everyone around me has done had it within the last month and i haven't. I am afraid though its going to come with a vengeance. Hope not though.

well,just wear more to keep us get out of the cold.especially when you go outside.it's will protect your health.block that what can hurt in this season.alright,and when you stay at home.that's reallt very cool.because it's warm.we have the heating EAF lol.if you own a fireplace.well,just enjoy your life.but you should also attention the your air whether too dry for your family mumber.
