I'm new in myLOT and would like to know the members here. So, I decided to post this question. For a nice start to introduced myself. I'm a filipina married to a british national living here in the Netherlands. I've read a lot from this site and I hope I will enjoy my stay here. I know there are filipinas out there. Looking forward to meet all of you guys.

Actually, I'm Irish/English/German and am married to an Italian, living in the United States. I hope you have a lot of success making friends here. It's a nice site.

Hello janyen! Thanks for adding me. I am a filipina too and I got married to an American. When I look at your profile, I read that you just arrived there. Is your husband filed a spouse visa or fiancee visa?hehee...
anyway, I've been here for four months now and I am still active right now. I enjoyed my stay here and I hope you will enjoy your stay here. I would love to meet a filipina who got married to a foreigner.

Sad to say that I have to wait till my papers got approve before I can go to US. We are applying for a spouse visa so it may take so long. My husband lives in West Palm Beach, Florida and I will be joining him pretty soon. I am happy and jealous with you. At least now, you could spend more time with your husband.
I guess you're right. US is more strict about visas.

Hi Aisa, your very much welcome! Thank you also for the add. I'm glad that I met another filipina in here. From which part are you in the U.S? Been here for only a month now. Netherlands don't have the same visa process like in the U.S but we just filed for a tourist visa but I'm waiting for my resident permit coz my husband is English living here. Hope to hear from you soon.

I'm lucky coz my husband is not dutch. We are following the EU directive when we applied for my visa which is cheaper and quick. I got my visa approved for 14days then just waited for my departure. Don't be jealous, I was like that before but you wait and everything will be worth it in the end. Netherlands is very strict also in their visa wherein you have to take and pass the Dutch Exam which is very expensive and difficult. You never know you visa will knocked on your doorstep soon.
