There was a time and it was a Valentines Day that I don't have anyone in my life. What I do I go out with my friends who are also don't have a partner. So we had dinner, then watch a movie and buy some pop corn. We just think it's an ordinary day hahaha! What is important you have friends to be with, then being lonely or feeling left alone. Have a nice morning to you!

I love Valentines Day I have never thought about a day that would be to say no to it. I hope that someone shows you what it is all about. To me it is a time to show that you love the people in your life. It is not all about cards and chocolate. I hope that someday some one will show you. Good luck and happy mylotting to you.

I've never had a boyfriend so I'm single every year on Valentines day. I don't really care too much about Valentines day, though, as I don't understand the point of it. As someone posted before, you don't need a reason to show love to your partner, you should do it every day not because the calendar says so.

you will have to bear with my confession, hcromer. never in my whole life was i confronted with the problem as to how to spend any valentine's day at all.
you see, i do not believe in celebrating this occasion for any reason at all.
in fact, celebrations are something which i do not observe so much for that matter.
so whether there is a boyfriend or none at all on that day, it never mattered for me. you bet, my boyfriend will not even hear agreeting coming from my mouth to that effect. neither will he receive any gift at all - not even a card.

When I was a teenager in school it bothered me a lot to be single on Valentine's day. I'd see all the other girls walking around school with flowers, candies, stuffed animals, even jewelry that they'd gotten from their boyfriends, and I had nothing. The school even sold roses for $1 on that day, and I always wished I had someone to get one for me. It was always so depressing.
But as I got older, things changed. It didn't bother me as much.
The last Valentine's day I was single was around 8 years ago. I was in between boyfriends at the time. It was still slightly disappointing that I was single that day, but I knew I wasn't ready for a relationship, so that helped me to be okay with it.
A few months later I began dating my husband. Since then we really haven't celebrated Valentine's day. We don't really have the money to give each other gifts, and we don't like to feed into the commercialism. If we can afford to we'll do something small, but normally we don't do gifts at all.

Its been a while since i have been single on valentines day. In my opinion its no big deal. I would just buy me something and love myself.
