Earlier in the month the National unemployment rate went to a historic percentage. Have you lost your job? What do you think we should do about the problem? When will it end? Have you or someone you know been affected?

I lost my job in September. And was denied unemployment compensation. I appealled and just today I found out I lost the appeal. In all of my time I have been working, I never was denied my unemployment in the time I've been working. I cannot believe it. What should we do? well, hopefully push for the enactment of this stimulus program. ensure that each American doesn't face dire poverty because you cannot get your own benefits.

I was unemployed awhile back, but I was able to find a temp part time job. I think it's going to get worse, but it will get better eventually. I am not sure what is the solution. The only thing that comes to mind is probably tax cuts or some tax incentive for corporations. It's nice that the government wants to create jobs, but they need to help the private sector also because we all can't work for the government, plus our grandchildren are going to be stuck with burden with the massive spending the government have right now.
