Do you have a least favorite pie or a pie you don't really care for?

I'm not a huge fan of apple and pumpkin pie. I guess there is some unwritten rule that says you have to have these pies every Thanksgiving. At least in my family. They get tiresome and really aren't that great.

Being a greedy, dessert-loving pig I can find something to like about any pie you put in front of me. I only eat pumpkin pie around Thanksgiving or Christmas, so I tolerate it. It is't bad, but I don't go out of my way to have it either. I can only have apple pie under specific conditions. They are so specific that I am usually not able to have it often. The topcrust has to be just so, the apples have to be a little firm and not too tart, I have to have vanilla bean ice cream and cool whip, and that bottom crust better be flaky! The rule in our family is basically that we don't have the same thing from one year to the next. We consider it a crime to be bored with food, so we mix it up as much as possible.

That's cool. I agree some apple pies are much better than others. McDonalds makes them pretty good.

i don't like lemon meringue pie and i don't like cherry pie. i like the meringue on the lemon meringue pie, but as for lemon and cherry anything, i don't like it. those fruits are too tart and sour for my liking.

Some cherry pies are better than others, I think. I think Sara Lee makes pretty good pies.

Lemon pie is disgusting. I hate it, it is so sour.
