my opinion...
kaspersky:
this is a very high quality product on the market but the thing was it is not supported old operating system like windows 98...
nod32:
i think base on what i see nod32 is norton base product.... and we all know norton is not a good product. but it is up to the user how she/he use nod...
note:
this is only my points of view so there will be an error for what i said...

Hello purefantasy! I use nod32 in my desktop and so far, I haven't infeced with any viruses yet. I have tried AVG too but I am not contented with it. When it updated, my computer would be slow while in nod32, it updated automatically and I think it doesn't consume much of my memory.

i use both.
I use nod32 in my desktop and i use Kaspersky for my laptop, i feel that NOD32 takes less system resourses and Kaspersky is fast at scanning the harddisk.

I prefer Nod because for me its less invasive though Kaspersky is more effective. NOD has consistently topped the Virus bulletin test against other antiviruses internationally. However, Id tend to think of viruses as having a sort of locality. That is, there are some viruses that are rampant in your country than in others. And if the antivirus company that owns the antivirus that you are using doesnt have the means to detect viruses in your country, then your antivirus becomes useless. In the philippines, AVG and kaspersky have good support while NOD doesnt. So both AVG and Kaspersky are good in the philippines.

I agree with you, of the two Kaspersky is by far the best antivirus. I've always used AVG free though. I love free software, and I've never had any problem that AVG couldn't fix for me :)
