They are a series of books that are supposed to be true stories of how people overcome obstacles in their life. There are several such as Chicken Soup for the Soul, Chicken Soup for Women, Chicken Soup for Kids, even Chicken Soup for America and so on. They are ment to provide inspiration and hope. However as an occasional freelance writer I have seen calls for submissions that make me believe not all the stories are "true". But truth is subjective, isn't it?

It has pretty much been explained correctly by your responses. It's an inspirational book, that relates to our lives. It's very good.

I love to reading anything on railroads, religion, philosphy, mythology, crafts books. I like to read books where I can learn to do things from, or just learn more about the topics above. Currently my focus is on trying to read all the Shaman or Shamanism books in the Public library, I am kind of disapointed as its all review other then one authors who really caught my attention...
She caught my attention so much so that I am trying to earn through her referal program to win her book.. since I do not have money to afford to buying it..
The Reluctant Shaman
Kay Cordell Whitaker
If you want to help me out with that drop me a message and I'll give you the link to her online newsletter sign up and my referal number...
I found her book to be perfect for me at this time, It gave me alot of hope, and encouragement...
