I wonder if it was his own money, or Obama Campaign funds that got him "up to date" on his taxes? Or was it just a bail out. lol

Hello Shoffman2000,
If I've understood the details of this issue correctly, then Geithner has come 'current' on his taxes, but only after getting the attention of Team Obama. I could be mistaken about the extent of the allegations, but as I understand it, Geithner is presently current.
Though, it's near impossible for him to now shake the charge of being a 'tax evader'. What I see as even more problematic is that he isn't familiar enough with the IRS basics to know when he was required to pay 'self employment tax'. If he's going to be in an oversight position of the IRS, then he ought to know basic tax fundamentals! Add to the tax evasion charge the issue of a housekeeper with a questionable immigration history, and the fact that Geithner has been intimately involved in the 'bail-out' and Wall Street meltdown issues, with narry an attempt to highlight or curb the problematic behaviors and violá we have the makings of yet another piddle-poor cabinet choice!
Should he be indicted? I cannot say. A thorough investigation will determine whether Geithner should be indicted. What I do know is that this guy appears to be just one more 'Do as I say, not as I do' kind of crook in the proposed Obama leadership heirarchy. Obama's choices certainly don't inspire my confidence! How many scandals have been linked to Obama and his cabinet choices, and he hasn't even been inaugurated yet. Can this really bode well???
