The 8th season of American Idol starts tonight. The producers and judges promised something different. Hopefully, there would be something different. I am not a fan FAN but I like watching American Idol because it is a singing competition. This is one of my frustrations- singing. So to be able to watch people who have the guts to sing in fron of national TV is really amazing for me.
What do you think about the upcoming new season?

Oh, happy birthday! Well, it would still show the audition from different states. Unless there would be someone SO FUNNY there, you wouldn't miss anything yet. lol.

I can do without the auditions if I have to.... But after that I'm glued to the set...

My husband and I are fans of Idol and we watched both audition shows that were on this week. I like the bad auditions almost as much as I do the good ones. I enjoy seeing people who think that the judges are so wrong when they tell them that they aren't right for the competition.
The difference this year is that there is a new judge and the talent seems to be better than last year too a point.

Yeah, that's the only difference- there's a fouth judge. But for the auditions, still the same. People who still think they can sing even if they can't. People who are so emotional when they did not get in. So on and so forth. And yet, here we are, still watching American Idol. lol.

Let the bad auditions begin! I love this show too much, although I hate that some of the best auditions get turned down. I mean some people are REALLY good singers, perhaps better than anyone else. The worst ones sometimes get in, why?? I will watch tonight and I will laugh and cry and go crazy. The only thing that get's me is when they ask the person who is auditioning why they are there, and they ALWAYS say "Because I'm the next American Idol". Let's see how it goes tonight.

I don't know the answer to that. But I like watching the show anyway.
