are online schools a good idea?

according to recent studies,online classes could be the wave of the future for all kids in middle and high school.
I know we adults always choose the online shool to make improvement due to our busy wrok. it's good and a valuable tool for our adults cuz you can learn from any location-inculding your own living room.
But do you think it's also for kids? as we know interaction between a teacher and a student is very important in middle school and the students are too young to handle the responsibility and couldnot pay more attention,but there are also some people agree with online shool cuz they thought online and distance learning were wonderful for enrichment...
what do you think? should kids really take classes over the internet?

I teach online. I don't think online schools should replace real schools. People are already socially inept because we aren't around other people enough. We spend way too much time online and not enough time in the real world. Now I do think it would be a good idea to offer some classes on-line especially in smaller schools where the school can't afford or doesn't have enough students to offer certain classes. In that why, we could give students a wider variety in classes that they could take--and they could say take one on-line class in a computer lab in the school and have the others be face to face classes. I wouldn't see any harm in that.

good idea if you have a work or anything you are busy with which hinders you from going to school. but i still believe that attending to a real school is better. it gives you more opportunities to learn. it helps you develop a social life too. but in my case? i won't like my kids to study online.. there's so much i the world to see... and i don't want them to miss anything... intelligence is not only found in the four corners of the room.... there is also financial quotient and emotional quotient which can be learned if they are interacting outside the home.

SURE. ONLINE SCHOOL is bad for kiDs. They lack the abilities to control themselves, but on line there are so many dirty information attracting them,,,, They are too young to distinguish what are bad or what are good for them. For kids, they r growing and need an life experinced teacher to guide them how to do a person, and how to communicate with person, all of these can not be substituted by on line schools...

Yes we are able to do everything online we can do shopping we can write exams they why can't online schools be a good idea i hope online schools are a good idea.
It helps many poor students to get educated.
