Hello everyone, I am a new guy for MyLot.
Since I heard a lot about MyLot, I can guess it will be very funny here. So I immidiately signed up without any wasting. From the very beginning, getting to read some discussions, and sensing some attractions of MyLot.
First of all, it is a huge family here, just like an earth village. People from all over the world, using the same language English. That is to say, I can get how people think of the same thing from very different background. How fatastic!
Then within this huge family, you can make a lot of different friends from where you were born. Toally new life experiences.
In the thorough English environment, it does good to English learning for people from non-English Speaking countries. And additional payments are also encouraging us to enjoy every detail of MyLot.
So guys, what do you think? Are there any other attractions of MyLot I haven't got? Please do tell me, I will really appreciate that.
Have a nice day to all!

hi Chris,
Welcome to mylot. Its good that you are enjoying the site as most of us do.Its more of a meeting place for people from all over the world. Some seek advices, some share there views, their emotions and its as you said a virtual family, here. Its the best part of mylot.I dont if you can say its an attraction, because attraction is just a starting point, and here people have been around since years. Its more of a platform for human binding.

Mylotting is a good way to improve writing. In the short period of one month, I feel words and expressions have been reactivated in my vocabulary. Reading native speakers' responses on topics of common interest is enjoyable and informative. That is exactly what we missed in school days. Our English courses tend to focus on limited testbooks and too much standard tests. Speaking and writing are neglected maybe because of shortage in competent teaching resources.
Unlike me, a retired with luxury of abundant time, I would suggest you focus on interests useful to you and your career, not diverted by seemingly interesting, but trivial topics. Enjoy mylotting, and good luck.
