Indian cricket is going through a good phase at the international level under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Will he able to do achieve those targets which Indian team has to accomplish - like winning test series against New Zealand and South Africa on their homesoil.

True! After Dhoni joined the Indian cricket team, there is a lot of improvement seen in the Indian side. They have started winning matches, scoring runs and taking wickets at regular intervals. Soon after Dhoni became captain, he surprised everyone by winning the first T-20 cricket tournament held in South Africa. Since then, India is rarely loosing a series and have improved their game a lot.

Dhoni is certainly a big influnce cricket.
I will be a bit hesitent to use the word "New Dimention", i would rather use the phrase "new confidence".
New dimention was given by saurav itself. Under dadas captaincy, team spirit improved & india started winning abroad. Dhoni era has made winning a habit & he has certainly made youngsters more welcome in the team. Now even without superstars, Team India has the confidence to defeat opponents, this i think is the biggest contribution of Dhoni to Indian Cricket.
