do you prefer ibuprofen or acetaminophen (paracetamol)?

hi all! whenever we have headaches, fever or even some body pains, most of us take medicines. among the most popular drugs are ibuprofen and paracetamol (acetaminophen in the US). both are analgesics (for headaches and pains) and antipyretics (they help lower your fever). of course, there would be several reasons why one would prefer one drug or the other. for me, i like paracetamol better because i've been taking it since i was 5 years old whenever i had fever (of course under the supervision of my mom, who is a physician). sadly, paracetamol tablets have a tendency to be sticky or clingy after you swallow it, and you can sometimes feel the tablet sliding firmly along your oesophagus. and some cheaper tablets have rough edges and can cause swallowing discomfort. but because of its proven efficacy, i'd still choose paracetamol. how about you guys? would you prefer ibuprofen or paracetamol? thanks and happy mylotting!
