hi all! chatting online is one of the pasttimes that most of us do when we go online. whatever the purpose is (dating, friends, business, research, etc.), chatting involves typing skills and even a lot of thinking. in my case, i find it funny that the reason why i type a bit fast (78 words per minute) was because of 3 years of chatting via YM and IRC. i was the type who was usually too lazy to recall the jargon and instead, type certain lines as entire sentences. as a result, i improved my typing skills and i usually type without looking at the keyboard. my colleagues at work even looked at me with disbelief whenever they see me typing while just staring at the monitor or while looking at them. haha. well i guess chatting isn't just a waste of time like most of our parents say. you can still develop skills that you can use at work! =) in your case, did chatting online made you type faster and without looking at the keyboard? neat, huh? =) thanks and happy mylotting!
