Hello mailtoramesh! I love to watch movies at home rather than going outside to watch it. I don't think it's really practically to go to a movie theater, pay something just to watch it for 2 hours. I think it's better to have a copy of the movie, watch it at home and I can do whatever I want whether to pause it or stop it or continue watching it.

well i prefer to watch movies on a daily basis at home.It is worth to watch movies at home as u can watch them seriously.1 can play forward or backward as preferable.i mostly watch action movies and comedies in the theatre as there we can enjoy the stunts and special effects...
and comedies can be enjoyed with friends only in theatres

i rarely go to the movie theaters to see movies (unless its a movie i really really want to see and can't wait) i usually watch them at home with my boyfriend which is what we prefer.
for one thing, it saves you some money and i can pause it whenever i need to go to the bathroom or get a drink or snack.
i still make the usual popcorn when watching them but the popcorn never tastes as good as it does when you buy it from the theater .. plus i LOVE the ketchup shaker on my popcorn so that's my only downside LOL

Home. Because I have the power!! I can go to the little gir's room and not miss anything, fast forward if it's boring, etc. I also don't have to listen to teenagers talking all through it, adults chatting on their cell phones, or keep moving around trying to see over the really tall guy in front of me. I have nothing against babies, but I'm not fond of trying to hear a movie while a baby is screaming because it's lunch time and mom isn't delivering. Home. Always home. Besides, if it's a bad movie, you aren't out as much money. There really isn't a losing part to watching a movie at home.

My husband is medically retired, so he spends most of his time at home. His "baby" is a 61 in HD LDP RCA television with surround sound. So watching movies on the TV is almost as good as seeing them on the Big Screen.
Plus the bathroom is nearby. I can prop my feet up on the coffee table, have snacks from the kitchen, press pause (DVDs or On Demand) when the phone rings or the grandkids need something and get all snuggled up with a cup of coffee and a blanket.
Very seldom do we go to the theater. Maybe if we have free movie tickets or for some special occasion. Otherwise we wait for the DVD.

I love to be home and watch movies where I can get comfortable and pause the movie if I need to. I just do not like going to theaters ! Too loud and too many people and I sometimes like to talk during movies.

Hi....same here. Watching movies at home is much much more comfortable and not to mention so much cheaper. But there is one movie when it is released this year I will definitely go to the theatre to watch it and that's transformers II. The sound system is great when I watched transformers I so for this movie, I will go

Well... I don't mind watching movie at home. Especially if I have the home theatre LOL. Even I love to watch movie at home because at home we could do whatever we want to do while watching the movie. The pirated DVD was cheaper than the movie theatre ticket so I think it would be better for me to watch movie at home than have to go to the movie with more costs.
But for some special movie, like the horror or actions which would need better view or better sound system, I would force myself to go to the movie and watch them. But yeah, I rarely go there.
