Why suicide should never be an option?

It is quite true that happiness doesn't come in packages and misfortunes never come alone. We all get beaten and bruised by life, but at the end of the day we need to compete with our own difficulties in our life. Life is wasted when we choose death. And in my opinion it is the most coward act from a person. I wonder when a person can't really face the pain when life hits him, does he still have the authority to put his own life to an end?
