We can't help you with the information you have given to us. There is no way of knowing what is fast? A day, two or exactly how many? My idea of fast might not be the same as yours or anyone else on Mylot. First Are your fish tropical or cold water? State kind of fish. Second How large is your tank? Small tanks are very hard to keep fish alive. Third Is your tank near the door? A draft can quickly change the water temperature; specially in a small tank.

I think that the tank to move from a zone to another of the house is not good for the fishers , this brings them to a thermal shock because they need a stable temperature in the tank , so also this can be cause of mortality in a long time

Drastic temperature changes can cause mortality to aquarium fishes specially tropical or salt-water species. If you don't have heater, your lighting can help increase the water temperature. You may keep the light on longer to help diffuse the temperature. If your aquarium set-up is movable, transfer it in a warmer place. The best thing though is to install a heater so you can control the temperature. If the pet shop where you bought your stocks don't have a heater, then try to look from other pet shops. Bus as some have already said, there are other factors that can cause fish mortality. Try to describe us your set-up and how you care for your fish so we can understand the situation better.

hat kind of fish do you have ? Are they goldfish ? Have you recently cleaned your tank? I can better answer your question if you provide me with more details of the type of fish you have , the temperature of the water in the tank, and what you use to clean your tank with . I look forward to helping you solve this problem so you can enjoy healthy, happy fish. Cheryl

As fishmomma and the others have said, we need more information in order to be able to help you. Some fish do just fine in cold water and actually prefer it, while others must be in a heated tank. Salt is important too, even freshwater fish need a little salt (aquarium salt, not table salt). Another thing that will cause a massive die-off in fish is "new tank syndrome" if you put them into a tank that has not had a chance to properly go through the nitrogen cycle first. Did you put them into a brand new tank, or did you let the filters run in the water for a few days (with a little fish food in the water) first? There are so many things that could be the cause, and as fishmomma said, your definition of fast may be different than ours. Please come back and provide more information so we can help you. What type of fish? What size tank? What kind of filtration? How many fish in the tank and in what number and time frame have they been dying? Is there salt int the water, if so, how much? Did you cycle the tank BEFORE putting the fish in? Did you properly acclimate the fish to the tank slowly or did you just dump them in straight form the store? (this is important becasue if you do not properly introduce them to the new tank's water and temp, they can go into shock & die)

Fishes depend on the type of water that you have. It is much dangerous if your water is high in ammonia rather than your water is cold. What type of fishes do you have and how many fishes are there. The more the fishes, the bigger the amount of gallon of water is needed for them.Do you have water plants or snails in your aquarium? This will also add to the mess on the water that they have. I also like to ask how many times you change your water. Do you change water everyday? how many percent of water do you change if you do it everyday. Because this will depend on how your fish will survive.
