I think this falls under "COMMON SENSE"

I just think that this would be common sense really.....but there are people out there that may not know this...

hi feona, thanks for sharing this.. 'coz this wasnt common sense to me.. i had used vicks under my OWN nose a lot. embarassed to say that i never bothered to read label all this while.. but thankfully, i have never done that to my own children. normally, i would just rub it on their chest, or their back... and sometimes on their forehead..

It's okay...It's just with little ones their nasal passages are so tiny that the product makes the secretions greater and the little one can't handle that... It is okay for adults...I used it under my nose...but mostly on my chest and with my kids I put it on their chests... The thing I think of with little ones...is them rubbing it into their eyes...so that is why I never put it under their noses... When I was little nobody ever thought that you couldn't put it under their little noses....but now things have changed... Thank you for your response...

welll I wouldnt ever put it close to the nose or under it . dont for myself either but I have seen people do it. Really dont acre for the smell really I like to use mentholatum And still wouldnt pu this clse to nose of a child as I think it is more for grownups/ good for a chest rub but cover it up good.

I think that anyone with even a tiny bit of common sense wouldn't use it under the nose no matter the age of the child or adult.

I have used this over the years. I have used it by my nose at times also to unblock nasal passages. I do not think I have ever used it on a child though.

I've never heard of putting it under the nose or in the nose...my Mom always put it on our chests when we were little and then put our pj's on over it. My stepmom used to use it in those vaporizer things. [b]~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND TRUST IN GOD**[/b]

A lot of people don't have common sense. I see this alot with younger parents~ please don't be offended anyone. But when you have babies raising babies, they don't use much common sense. Vicks is a good product, but yep, you should always read the warnings.

i have used vick's all my life, still do. used it on my children & my mothrt used it herself all hers , wht's the deal??
