I am working on writing a book

Well I fyou need me to I would be availabe to read it and give you some feedback. I love to read and tend to read everything within reach most of the time. If I get to the poing where I think that something isn't going quite right I start to brainstorm again or find someone that doens't know me to read my work and tell me what they think. Sometimes it's easier for a third party that doens't know you to give you feedback. Alot of people probably don't voice there opinion because they don't want to hurt the writers opinion but hey everything needs anothers perspective every once in awhile.

I have found that working with online critique groups has helped me through this problem quite a bit. I use the forums on absolutewrite.com, their share your work link is a great place to get started. I also found that stepping away from the work for a day or two is helpful. I'll work on other projects, or work through writng prompts to help prevent my mind from overloading too much on the current work in progress.

As a writer, it is normal to face some difficulty. It's normal that at some point you may have a bit of a writer's block. But I think that, if you have someone who can read your work and give you feedback, then that certainly helps. I find that this helps me to have a better sense of my work and have an outside perspective of my writing. It helps me to know what I can improve, and i'm sure that it may help you as well.
