I was watching the Biggest loser last night and coulnt help but notice that Bob the trainer has his inner forearms filled with tats on both sides.... I am noticing them more and more often lately. I dont think I would ever get a permenant one, but I like the temp tats....

I don't think that tatoo's are my kind of thing. At one time I wanted to get one, but now I just rather stick the temporary ones... so yep, I agree with you. Some people they look good on, I guess, but I'm not much for one myself. My fiance doesn't have any, and won't get none either.

I love tattoos, and I have one. Its only a small one. Even though I do like tattoos, I dont like to have a big tattoo. I have a small red devil. :-)

I like them I have 5 of my own, I got them a long time ago, but I was careful even back then every tat that I have can be covered easly.
now that I'm older I'm glad I did that.
I have to attend my husbands museum functions with members being in thier 70's and up and I dont want to make my husband look bad.

that was very smart that you got them in places that can be hidden. so many people get them and they are out in the open and when they get older they have to always be wondering why did I put it there...LOL

try it, its cool. henna tatoo will do you no harm. After more than a week it be gone. I got my first henna, when my brother, a trying hard artist wants to try doing it and he made me his model. A chinese character at the right most part of my back so every time i used a boxer shirt. people will see it and every time they does. They say's its cute. So after that im want to have it every time i go swimming. its really cool.

I like tattoos to a point. But I think when you have so many you can't even see your real skin any more that is going to far. I think it is nice to get a tattoo that means something to you. I don't have any but I have thought about getting one for a long time. It is something permanent and I'm afraid I would get tired of anything I would pick.

i dont like them.. no matter how 'cute' it may be..
i do notice that it has become a 'fashion-trend'.. even a tv program based on tatoo artist - 'miami ink' - have you seen that show?..
i personally wouldnt want to put myself thru all that 'pain' to get something 'printed' on my body..

My hubby has 2 tats, 1 on each upper arm, anyway I've been wanting one for a while but was to scared, I actually got one on 30th Dec last year so not long ago, its on the back of my shoulder so no-one can see unless I wear a strappy top, I must admit though I can't stand people with loads of them I think it looks horrible e.g David Beckham, his arms are covered and I think its horrid, how is it gona look when he is old? I probably wouldn't get another but who knows, I've never go to the extent of getting loads, its a personal choice I guess. When I got mine I was really worried I wouldn't like it, luckily its nice and I'm pleased!

yeah, I dont have any, I know if I got one a yr later I would be like...hey this thing doesnt come off...LOL
but to many is just not right... I guess the ones that do that just have a way of expressing themselves.

I also have a tattoo of a tiger with a rose in it's mouth. I got this when I was about 16 years old. I do not mind tattoo's on people as long as they are old enough and fully understand that these things are there for life. You also have to know that if they are visible than some people will frown upon them. But I do not mind them.

that is a very good way of putting it.... it is your body to choose... I dont know if I could ever actually do it, but I see so many people with them now I was just curious to what others thought....LOL

I think if you get a few it is not a big deal. I know that some people like getting them all over. Some people look ok but others I think look kinda of silly. I think it all depends on the person. I myself would like to get a few tatts. When and where I have no idea. I feel it is a big decision as well. I think you should be careful when choosing an artist. A tattoo is a big choice but a lot of people do it everyday. I feel people usually like expressing themselves this way thru art on the body. I like temp ones too! So do my kids, lol. Great discussion and good luck with it. Happy mylotting have a great day!

Well considering that I myself have one, I would have to say I don;t mind them,LOL. I think that tatoos are a great way to keep a constant reminder of things that are special to us. I have a tatoo of a single rose on my back, it symbolizes the very first rose that my husband ever gave me. My husband also has a tatoo, he has waves tatooed around his forarm. I think that if you like them you should get one, if not don't it is a personal choice.

that is so true....it is a personal choice.
I kinda like the fact when people have them and they are hidden and then found by that special someone....LOL

I grew up with a dad who had two large eagle tattoos, one on each forearm. I never thought of tattoos as something different, at that time, but he was probably the only person I knew that had them. I have one tattoo myself. A tribal rose (no color, just black and grey) on my left shoulder. Since I don't wear spaghetti straps, most people would never know I have it. I got tattooed at 37 years old. I also thought about it for a year before getting it done and spent hours researching the design. It was a time in my life that I wanted to do something just for me. I have no regrets :)

I have nothing against tattoos, as my fiance has five of them, and I have one myself. Although we both make sure that, when we are in public places, such as a restaurant, class, or something, that we cover our tattoos, simply so that we don't offend anyone.

I'm a mixed up person when it comes to tats. I think they are cool if done right. I especially love the color and detail some of the true artists accomplish. I've even thought of getting one or two myself. BUT, I was raised in a household that looked down on such things. Mainly thinking that those who have tats are from the "wrong side of the tracks" or are felons etc. Know I KNOW this is ridiculous and I don't believe that myself. (I personally think that I too grew up on the wrong side of those tracks) But I can't seem to get past my upbringing at times. I love em, but was raised to hate em.

Ya permanent tattoos are in fashion today.I see lots of youngsters opting for them. These look good to some extent but whole body tattooing does not look good.Actually this art is very old and were used by people of medieval times .they used to write their names and religious symbols on their arms but now this art has come under the perspective of fashion and people are using it for looking fab and modern
