Mac and Cheese or.......Rice a Roni

My kids asked me which I would like the other night. I of course said rice a roni for something a bit different. The rice a roni has the herbs in it to give you a little something with the rice. My kids were disappointed they prefer Mac and Cheese. They like all that cheesy good stuff. How about you? Do you prefer good ol' mac and cheese or ricearoni???

hi there, chulce.. i looove pasta but i'll for Rice a Roni anytime! Rice a roni doesn't doesn't come that often compared to mac n' cheese.. and i love herbs, too. happy myLotting!

You know its funny how much more the rice a roni actually costs compared to the mac and cheese. I scratch my head sometimes. I can actually get more out of a box of mac and cheese that I can the rice a roni. lol

Mac and cheese hands down. There is nothing like mac and cheese. Of course if made from the box, it has to be kraft~ the generic brands just don't compare. When I was a teenager, my friend and I would eat one box of mac and cheese for lunch every day in the summer. We were fighting for the last scoop.

It all depends on the store though, we have a store here, there off brand actually tastes better than kraft. I was so shocked and I can get it for about 1/2 the cost of kraft. go figure. lol

Really?! That is great for you. I haven't found a store brand that tastes anything near kraft. I have noticed that Kraft has gone down in price. For a while I was paying close to $1 for it~ crazy! Now it is 75 cents, but many times on sale 2/$1.

Hey, thanks for bringing back some pleasant memories of my childhood and youth! My mom used to make Rice-a-Roni all the time when I was a kid and I just loved it. I haven't had it for years until maybe two years or so ago I tried some and it tastes just like I remembered it. Now I haven't had it again for awhile so I'll have to get some when I go to the store next time. It sure IS more expensive than Mac and Cheese! Go figure! Annie

i couldn't believe they even ask. both my sons [who are grown] would still say mac & cheese. my grandson is coming right along behind his dad liking to. i would have said mac & cheese to. guess that's where the boys got it. lol i like rice but not the best.

All depends on what I feel like having. Like Today definitely Mac n' Cheese with bake chicken. Tomorrow can't say for sure but I do like the different flavors that rice a roni offers.

Mac & Cheese all the way! I could eat Mac & Cheese every day. I love it. I like Rice A Roni, but given the choice I would go for the cheese!

I like them both but prefer a home made version of rice a roni and so does my family. For mac and cheese we like Shells and cheese. I know my family would prefer mac n cheese but I prefere the rice a roni.
