do you love yourself?

I believe that we have to love ourselves inorder to love others...not in a vain way...but I like who I am and I can look myself in a mirror and be proud of who I am. I love myself and like who I am. what this means is that I have self worth and confidence...It has not always been like this. I think we need to teach our children to love themselves and maybe they will care more about themselves as well as care more about what they do and who they become....So do you love yourself? and why? If not I suggest you start by writting down the good things about yourself, good things you have done.

ya sure buddy what you are saying i love my self very much and more than any one in life and except for my love life. so i love my self very much because whenever i do new then i should like what is that my number should come first in every thing so by seeing this i could say i do love my self more than every one

I do love myself for different reasons, I was a good mother, I am honest caring and very understanding to others, but there are things I am not so happy with my weight for one and two or three other things I need to work on. Nobody is perfect I keep reminding myself of that, and I do know I am a good person.

yes i love myself and i am proud of who i am. no one is perfect in this world so we have out set of flaws and weaknesses but this doesn't make us a lesser person. so we have to accept who we are and love the person that you are. if there maybe things that you want to change in you you have to work for it so that people around you will love you as well. i agree that we can't give love to others unless we have truly love ourself, of course not on the vain way. thanks for brining this up. happy mylotting!!!

Yes i love myself.and i am very much happy abt how i look.even then i believe that every person has got their own charm and their own beauty.i dont compare myself with others.a person who loves themselves,loves everyone and can make other people very happy and energetic.

I think I am learning to love myself. But there are still things to be done. I think that when you love yourself you start to only make things that make you proud of yourself and make you happy. And right now I can´t say I am acting like that. I don´t like my job and the way I am living is making me sick. But right now I can´t really change. This doesn´t make me very proud of myself. But i am trying to change and learning.

Of course, i do proud myself of whatever i look like now. Im not that pretty but atleast i have a face the important is i know how to love and what's inside me.
I do love myself that's why i keep myself safe and healthy and strong and i dress myself pretty. MYself os my best friend so i gonna love me.

When I was younger I didn't love myself at all, infact I hated myself for being so shy and quiet. Now I have become better at accepting the person I am, and I am slowly learning to love myself. I have changed, I am not as shy as I used to be, but that is not the main reason why it has become easier for me to accept myself. I have changed my way of thinking. I used to see certain personality traits as really bad (and only bad) and I used them as a excuse to hate myself, but now I have started to turn my thoughts around.

I agree about what you are saying, loving ourselves is definitely not the opposite of loving others, we have to love ourselves to love others and vice versa, that's how relationships should be held strong.
But, most of the time I have some problems thinking about "love myself", most of my attention falls on others, especially my mom and my girl friend. ^^ I do love (care for) myself, eventhough it is because I hate having to think that I have to die earlier than the people who love me. It'll break their heart.

Of course I'm proud of who I am.. You can't love others if you dont even know how to love yourself. Even if am not as beautiful as what others have I still proud of myself.. Yes, be confident and have self worth thats the very essence.
