I'm not working. Bored and would like to find something interesting to help me occupy my time. Making a bit of cash doing it would be nice. Been thinking about making some easy craft and selling it on the internet. Maybe making candles or jewelry. Just looking for some suggestions or ideas. Tired of being bored and not contributing financially at home.

I would say throw yourself into the world of blogging, and bring your passion for a subject to a wide community. It may take a bit of time to start earning any significant amounts, but learning all the ins and outs of creating a successful blog will keep you busy as well as interested, plus of course writing posts on your chosen subject.

My husband has suggested this very thing. I guess I should take a closer look at this and see if this is something I could dive into and enjoy. :) I'm ready to have a job or hobby that makes me some money. I'm just way bored. I will look for some great sites with information on this subject.

First, begin by selling anything you have laying around the house that you don't use. There are free websites where you can sell as well as Ebay and others that will charge for listing. Second, if you don't use coupons and rebates check into it. Look at refeundsweepers.com. If you sing up please put me as the referrer (tammytwo). This site will allow you to find coupons, rebates and sell any unwanted items as well as offer frugal tips and much more. Once you have done these things think about what you like to do or what you are good at. Don't get involved with something that seems tedious because it won't last. If you have a digital camera and can take decent photos check into selling stock photography online. See my profile for my link where I sell mine. You can set up a website at Etsy to sell your craft items once you decide what to do. Good luck with this and most importantly have fun!!!

Thanks. I'm really just looking for something I will enjoy doing on a daily basis. I really don't have to work but want to do something that will occupy my time and make a bit of money on the side. I've looked at Etsy.com and think that would be a good resource for selling my crafts. If I could only think of something cool to make and sell.
