Do you respond to posts where the poster has not left any comments

If someone posted something, lets say three days ago, and have maybe thirty responses, but has not made a comment on any of the replies, would you still leave a response?
I do not most of the times, because I do not know if the poster is posting for actual feedback on their discussion, or is just posting to get a lot of responses. If you do not comment, then the person who responded does not know whether the poster has read their response.
What's your take on this?

I can understand not having time to comment on all of the responses, but when I see discussions with a lot of responses and the poster does not even comment on one of them, I wonder, why even post. At least if they responded to at least one, the other responders will know that they came back to their discussion to read the responses.
thanks for responding.

I agree with you , but it would be nice to respond to at least one of the responses. Just my opinion

Yes, it made sense. I noticed someone, who has a lot of discussions, with a lot of responses, but have not made comments on any of the responses. Makes you wonder if the responses were read at all.

If I find the discussion interesting I'll usually respond, but in the case of some mylotters, I aware that they NEVER respond to a comment and even if I'm interested in the discussion I don't participate. If you start a discussion, it should be done for your benefit as well as for others. If you don't respond to any comments it does appear that you never check the discussion and if that's the case you're just here for the money. I won't help a person like that. Sorry if that seems petty, but that's how I feel.

I feel the same way. What is the point of starting a discussion, if the people who responded never hear your views on the responses.

I will if it's something simple that interest me but I wont offer any in depth advice because I really don't see the point. Sometimes people start a discussion and then don't get a chance to log back on for a while and that's fine but others never ever go back to comment. Those are the ones I just don't add.

Yeah, I like a little feedback, even if it is not to my response, but at least to see that they came back and read the responses.

I get what you are saying and I am guilty of not commenting all the persons who respond to my discussion.Sometimes I have blessed with so many responses ,it simple overwhelms me and sometimes I dont know what to say .I still respond to discussion where persons have not commented for the very samme reason I hav egiven above .In fact mant times I rarely check to see if the poster has commented.I respond to discussion if I find the topic interesting .
Good discussion though and if I hav enot responded to one of yours my bad

I can understand not responding to all of them, especially if there is a lot. i am talking about people who do not comment on any, not even one response.
