Where do you send your kids during summer vacation?

If you work outside the home while your child is in school, what do they do during summer vacation? Do your children go to daycare, summer camp, etc.??? I've very interested. I may have to go back to work and I have 3 kids (2 in elementary and 1 will start full-time kindergarten in the Fall 09).
How much does it usually cost you a month over the summer? Ball park figure if you don't know. I trying to figure out whether it would be worth it for me to go back to work. I was a secretary before my kids were born almost 9 yrs ago.

Were you able to make enough working outside the home to exceed the daycare costs? That's my dilema.

When I had one child it was fine, but now that I have 2 it would be a little more difficult. I think if you would have to pay $800 a month for child care before and after school, you take gas and wear and tear on your car into consideration it might not be worth it. You might be able to find a part time job that you can do only when the kids are in school. That way daycare expenses would not be an issue.
