Do you think you need to get a Second Job??

You and me both Momma What online business did/do you have? I also have a few online businesses but none of them make that much cash so to make a bit extra I take in admin work to do from home and next month I am going to be doing a Diving Instructor course (which does cost, unfortunately) but which will hopefully eventually be able to bring me in a bit extra. Yes mommma.Awonderfullife needs to get a FIRST job though! lol A second job is often necessary and it's really hard when you're a mother, because to me that's a second job in itself. But the bills have to be paid. Good luck in your job search- I hope you find something that can work around your schedule!

I am actually considering it. That is why it would be good if I can find one that is online that I can work on a few hours a day to make a little extra to suppliment my income. But to find that elusive work at home job that pays, well, it is an uphill task! I sure hope I can find one in time to get some extra money to fund my expenses!

I was fortunate enough to be offered a part time job when my daughter was starting university. I manage a very up market villa. I had to do this as I was widowed. Then she left a worked for a couple of years before she did her Masters and alhtough she was working in the uSA I had to help her then as well. Her brothers helped too. I still need ths job and hope to have it for a couple of more years as it helps to to pay my credit card. We have to do what we have to do. Become creative, save every penny that we can and look for opportunities rather than bemoaning our fate. good luck to you. I hope that yo succeed. Oh, I also startef last Autumn to provide gift baskets for guests staying at villas. My profit is very low but they one agency has given me all their orders. Having said that - tourism is down so there are not many orders but it is extra money and I am grateful for it

you are needed more at home so i would suggest that you sell some second hand items st ebay and continue blogging in the net.

Of course I need a second job. Maybe even a third one :) I am however leaving this one up to hubby, since ever since I came here I have always had more than one job - for years, and years. So now it's his turn - since he basically had only one. I also think, that not only we might need a second job, but we will have to rethink what the priorities are on what we need and what we want to buy. We have been led by consumerism to think we need every single new thing that comes into the market. It's time to prioritize :)

i was informed not all that long ago that if i went looking for a job outside of the home in addition to everything i already do.. that my husband will move out before i start killing people LOL

I thought of that before because I am the one financing or supporting my siblings (with the help of my mom) in their studies. i thought I was never going to make it... lolz.. but with the support and help of our family, i didn't have to get a second job. Secondly, I do not think I will be able to get a job because I am on a shifting schedule right now and I work like 9 hours a day or more... but right now, I consider earning online as my second job because I am getting some money in my paypal account to soon suffice my needs... hehe Take care! With the things steaming up in the office, I am looking for a change in my job. There is no more interest in my job. I find it really boring and not up to my level. It is frustrating my live. I sm so bored with the atmosphere of my office that I desperately want to quit it ASAP.

Hey momma! I need to find a first job, before I find a second! I can't find a job at all! I am trying to make money online and I don't have any idea what I'm doing! I used to work as a secretary at a full time job, but I have no idea where or what I am going to do now! I have been out of work for a long time and I don't know who is going to hire me with a gap in my resume and with the job market the way that it is and I am very scared right now. So I don't see what kind of job I can find at all for a first job, let alone a second one!

I have learned that you can work five jobs and still not be able to make it. I have learned to trust God. He can make things happen in many different ways. Where often, you do not even need money. He is my security blanket.

Momma, Sorry to hear about the site crashing down on you when you was working hard to make it work for you. At this point, if you can, then yes, get a second job. But take a inventory of your income before you go any further. Hopefully all will work out in your favor.

hello 34momma, I bit I do too. We have three children, our eldest is first year college taking up Nursing, second third year high School and the youngest second year high school. Last year, my wife is an agent to a pre-need company. They cater bank products as well. I'm helping her find a client before in the company I'm working. But then last December, the founder of the company decided to close the company. It is really a big lost to me and my wife for we are having big commission here. Now, I'm looking for a second job that will help the family. Good thing, there is these online sites that can help us in one way or the other. It serves as our savings. Need more time to earn better.

I personally don't need a second job at the moment, with my current job, fairly safe so far and I seem to be increasing my earnings online at the moment, so I seem to be able to keep my head above water for the moment, although I still have to watch the expenses. Yup I have a bunch of bills & college loans to pay off. Making extra money has become sort of my hobby now. I made $350 from my two best paying sites- they are featured on my profile & blog if you want to check them out.
