windows live messenger 2009

I have been using the newest version of windows live messenger and I just found it a little weird and I don't think it is as useful as the previous version.
I really liked when I was able to see the contact card of the people when I clicked the "msn" icon before their nicknames and also it was really useful to see my friends' display images after opening their contact screen even if they are offline.
So, I just want to know how you all feel about the new version of msn messenger, ah and by the way, doesn't it use so much of the system resources after all?

Are you saying it's better or not too much?
I am using my secondary computer at the moment because the first one has almost packed up and on this one I only have the basic Windows IM. Once I get the pc doctor to it and I get back there I will send you my IM and then I will never lose you again - if you're happy about that of course

oh :) OF course I would be happy with that diana! I was going to ask you but you did it first. I think the newest version of windows live messenger is useful but not much better from the older version of windows live messenger. I am looking forward to speaking to you on instant messenger :) Thank you for the message!
