What is the highest number of virus u have faced once in ur pc?

When I was new to the computer and don't know about virus and anti-virus i have faced many virus. After using my pc for sometime my computer becomes very slow I call my friend to show him what happened, then he suggested me to use any anti-virus. Then after a few hour I installed avg 6 and when it scan my pc it show 1628 virus i immediately remove them. What is the higest number of virus u have ever faced? Or u have not faced any virus till now.

Is that different virus types or files infected with one or two types of virus? I had only experienced a couple or three types of virus infecting my computer.

Well it is the number of file that has been infected by two or three kind of virus.

the number 1628 doesnt mean they were all viruses.
There are differnet types of viruses and stuff.
I bet most of them were just add ons and cookies.
Because the major viruses infect ur comp and make it not to work or some particular files.
if u r getting heaps of cookies and such. my advice is get a good antivirus software. i recomment trend micro. as it helps even cleaning up the temp folder.
the max i got was 47 threats and they ended up being cookies.

I only scan my my computer from viruses once a month. The highest viruses that found by my anti-virus so far is 5. But I had an experience scanning my friends computer when she sent it to me to fixed driver problem. I was surprised that the anti-virus found 689 viruses on her computer. Fortunately I the anti-virus is able to heal all the viruses.
