so what is the anti-virus program do you use and why do you use it. was it one that you paid for or one that you got for free. do you think that free anti-virus programs are better then ones that you pay for or the other way around? are there any anti-virus programs that you think are bad.

I use Norton because it came with the computer, but I don't trust it to find everything. So, every week or so I use a site called TrendMicro Housecall that scans the computer for free while I'm online and it finds what Norton and others often miss.

ya i use to use that, but found out that it didn't get a lot of the virus that other programs catch. ya i end getting a free edition of AVG anti-virus and it found like 35 virus that Norton didn't get. ever since then i don't trust any virus programs that comes on computers. i think that Norton miss so many is because its standard on all PC and if your a hacker or some one that makes viruses then its easy to use Norton to see if it detect it. so dose that site get rid of the viruses for you or just tell you that you have some?

It will tell you that you have them then ask if you want to delete them, it doesn't delete anything without your permission

ya i use the same thing. its the best virus software that I've found that really works good. it found 36 virus that Norton could even find. have you gotten the newer version of it yet. it has a better setup to it. plus it has some new features to it that are nice. well thanks for your response. keep mylotting.
