Acording to a news say that coffeelovers can have hallucinations and we might see gohst. That was the stupiest thing I ever heard. But according to a big study done in Durham it seems to be so. The normally hallucinations were
One: You see things that is not there, two: you hear voices three: you see ghosts.
Ok I am a coffee lover, have a hole pot in the moring. I am a believer in the after death thing, and I can see things that others do not. I know we have dead people around us every where. But Thinking it has to do with my consume of coffee never crossed my mind.
Ok, coffeelovers what do you think about this? Do you believe it? Please share Your thoughts!
Happy mylotting and have a god day

Hi,
I seriously don't have any idea, am not biology student even! I don't even wish to take a wild guess, because i feel coffee has nothing to do with ghost,
I am ardent coffee lover. Yummy.. ,
Let me keep my fingers-crossed and look at what other mylotters tell about your discussion, who knows it might be true also. As i am afraid of ghosts, i will wait and see others responses, it will help me ,
Take care my friend

Do not be afraid of ghosts, they are not to harm you, only help you if you need. I do not believe this, I have seen, heard and felt the people from the other side since I was a little girl. I did not start drinking coffee until my late teens. So I think this is rubbish and waste of time and money to make a study of. There are more important things we need to know and need studys about. A special medical studys in vary medical stuff.
Thank you for response and happy mylotting.

I too am a coffee lover, love, love, love the stuff and yes I too see ghosts! Just last night I saw that little ghost dog again only this time it was in my basement standing on the steps just looking down at me. It has NEVER been in my house before, it's only been outside watching me as I wheel the trash cans to the curb. You can see it out of the corner of your eye, but when you turn your head real fast and look at it, it justs fades away. I have been living here for over 5 years now and I am the only one who sees that dog. I saw him the very first day I moved in but here's the problem I have about that idea about coffee drinkers having hallucinations, seeing that little ghost dog was BEFORE I started drinking COFFEE! I've only been drinking coffee for two years!

Me to have feelings from the people after life. I have had since I was a little girl, I did not had coffee then, I started drinking coffee in my late teens. So that coffee should have anyting to do with it...no way.

well that explains my incredibly haunted house then..since 3 of the 4 ppl living here are constantly hearing and seeing things that just cannot be explained! not really, never been a single thing in this house vaguely "unexplained".
LOL! what a stupid "study" to waste money on!! that could have been put to curing cancer or AIDS or something SIGNIFICANT!
like someone else said..i just dont see the connection. ok..i will give this possibility..caffeine causes hallucinations. but for all the caffeine that humans consume, LOTS OF US (talking MILLION AND MILLIONS) should be just plain flipping out about seeing things! unless it takes a HUGE amount of caffeine to inspire ghosties to frolic before our eyes.
either way..im not stopping my coffee consumption..let the ghosties come!

LOL! what a stupid "study" to waste money on!! that could have been put to curing cancer or AIDS or something SIGNIFICANT! Thats could not been said better, absolutely what I think to. And I have no beleive in it at all. I Like my coffee in the mornings, can not think of beeing without it, I shore will continue my consume to. If I would be without my coffee in the mornings, I would not be a human being. I would never wake up....being a sleep all day long with wide open eys would scare people of.....
Thank You for response and happy maylotting.

First this study was only on 200 people and it was done with instant coffee...I don't know if that changes much, but to me it should say something. Instant coffee is bad! I know that there were times in my life that I had a ton of caffeine. I never had any problems...

Explain "instant coffee" to me. I do not understand realy. I have coffee, no cream and no sugare. Is that not instant coffee. Still it is a stupid thing to make a study of. I do not believe the suggestions from the study. Even if the study have only 200 or 10 000 people in it....still stupit thing to make a study of and waste both time and money.
Thank you for response and happy mylotting.

Wow, that's so silly. I wouldn't ever have guessed that coffee has anything to do with anything like that. I didn't realize coffee was a hallucinogen. I believe in the afterlife and ghosts and whatnot, but I definitely wouldn't account any of that to loving coffee.

Thinking of it, this would mean many people not have to start take drigs if they like a kick. No, I am kidding...yes I think this is very stupid. I am on my first cup right now, it is a new day, a new beginning of my full pot of coffee. And in one hour I am about to be fully awake. However, I am free of from work today....

I am a coffe drinker. I have never heard voices or seen anything that was not there. I can not say this is so with my husband but he has schizophrenia so he does hear voices and hallucinate. But I do not believe that this is because of the coffee. I am not sure how they came up with this one but it is unreal.

Me either. I started drinking coffe in my late teens...and did hear, see and notice people from afterlife since I was a little girl....without any type of diagnoses. Unbelievable they even come up with an idea about making a study of it. Why not put the money where it is better spent for instance medical studys.
Thank you for response and happy mylotting.

Oh, so that's why I hear those voices! lol
No, I'm like you. I do believe in `the afterlife, but I don't believe coffee makes you able to see ghosts, nor do I believe it gives you hallucinations. Maybe the caffein affects some people but not everyone.

No, I was thinking about it when I went to work this morning after I had closed the site here. I have noticed from the other side ever since I was a little girl, but I did not drink any coffee then. I started drink coffee in my later teens so I have no believe in this study. This news was enought to talk about it on the mornings news at TV to. Rubish I think, why in the Gods name put money in a study like this....I wonder.
Happy mylotting and thanks for response

I dont get the connection there at all. I drink alot of coffee, and I believe in ghosts. I dont hear voices. I think that it is pretty silly to connect those things to coffee. insomnia, hyperness yes. lol.

Yes, I agree with you...Putting money in a study like this is waste of resource that could be used better ways. The only thing I think coffee be god for is headaces....so one cup of coffee to get rid of the headace you get when you think how wate of time spent on this study.
