More sad news to post, as Ricardo Montalban passed away. He was 88 and truly was a great actor, who had 4 children and like Patrick McGoohan was married a long time. Patrick McGoohan in 1963 and Ricardo in 1961 were on Disneyland the show starring Walt Disney. I loved the show and know people did of all ages.
Most people know him on Star Trek, Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan, and Fantasy Island. I enjoyed him in The Ant Bully, which is perfect for the entire family. He was a guest star on many television shows like The Colbys, How The West Was Won, Dynasty, Kim Possible and his last role on Family Guy in 2008.
I'm deeply saddened to read two great stars are gone. They both did so many great roles on television and the movies.

I love the actor. I especially loved him in Spy Kids where he portrayed a disabled person who wasn't bitter- yay!

I agree it was great to see a disabled person getting to be able to speak up about the role. He did want people to see you can be successful and disabled. He will be missed and certainly did a lot of great roles.
Thanks everyone for posting.

I am so sorry to hear that, Ricardo Montaban was one of my favorite actors and as a child, I always fantasized about marrying a man just like him, he was so vibrant, manly and sexy.

Oh no! So many wonderful actors and actresses are leaving us. I always enjoyed Ricardo Montalban in every role he was in, that accent - Oh my! and Patrick McGoohan, we have the entire Prisoner series on VHS, it was just so bizarre, we loved it. We will miss them both very much.. Best wishes to you. Be happy, be joyful, be happy, be strong! OOHCUTE2340

We should not be sad, they both led good lives and had long marriages. Their children and grandchildren loved them, they had successful careers, they lived well and long. I'm sad for myself to lose them but they've moved on past this world and are now at peace after a happy life.

I'd heard about Patrick McGoohan and that was bad enough but Ricardo Montalban as well,we have lost two great actors. Even though they hadn't done much recently obviously getting on in years I still remember them, especially Patrick McGoohan because of The Prisoner. It's such a shock.
