i wish i could turn back time

I met a guy whose personality is beyond my expectation. When I fist met him. Im really amaze his kind, and really serious killing smile.. We've become friends, the more I'm attached to this guy. Few months later I noticed something about him his incomplete. I mean is his lonely and have a broken heart maybe this was been in a tragic kind of love story.. Finally i have the guts to ask the question which been in my head for so long now. Then he told me everything and as in very detailed as well. Yes im right, he is heartbroken and also still misses his former girlfriend. He cant moved on. Though he and her former gf still has communication he cant manage not to tell all the stories and adventure they had. Like going to other places, the trips, the fun, and the good memories they had. I wish i had the power to turn back time.. I feel so sad, that he ends up in a place called Mental Hospital. But he already got recovered but im afraid that he might return to that place if he cant moved on... Does any one of you have a good advice for me?
